Private Tongue Tie Clinic

As experts in the field, we truly understands how the tongue functions and its impact on infant feeding and wider infant oral health outcomes.

We can help you to identify the root cause of your challenges and offer individualised strategies, solutions and support.

We typically see babies up to 12 months old for tongue tie divisions where deemed necessary. If you are facing difficulties with tongue tie, tongue function, infant feeding, reflux, weaning to solids, disrupted sleep patterns or any other symptoms; we are here to support you on your journey.

Tongue Function Matters

How the tongue mobilises can be impacted structurally as well as functionally, both are of key importance! We seek to understand the root cause of the presenting symptoms to you and your baby, in order to fully optimise their tongue function.

Our Holistic Appoach

Root Cause

How the tongue is functioning is really key! When we see your baby we are assessing the tongue mobility and feeding, from a functional and structural perspective. Where a tongue tie is not a factor, we seek to identify the root cause.

Treatment

We treat tongue function in a holistic way. Where there is a tongue tie, muscular tension, low tone or oral dysfunction, that's negatively impacting infant feeding or other areas of your baby's health; we can identify the why and treat accordingly.

After Care

Aftercare is a fundamental part of our treatment. Our approach includes gentle intraoral and body movement exercises, to help re-educate the tongue's function and optimise the wound healing process.
